Apple ads with a sense of irony?

I'm not sure if the festive Apple ad is showing a better sense of irony than the usual batch, or if they simply don't realise... 

I know someone is bound to correct me, but... isn't the OSX GUI written in C++?

Oh.... I do have a PowerBook and iPod as well as my PC collection so I'm not siding with either of the religious extremes.
